The third day of the London Transit bus strike and there’s no signs of slowing down. There are no more talks schedueled with London transit and London transit workers. Translation–not so good for students at UWO.
Not to mention that most London residents don’t really need the bus service–this isn’t Toronto, and it ain’t the TTC. Other than students at UWO there isn’t a lot of need for the bus service.
So far the city has decided not to step in and end the strike. And can you blame them? The only people getting pissed are students and we don’t stay around to vote for city council. Those labor unions in the city however hold a big axe when election time comes.
One thing’s for sure: it pays to be a London taxi driver.
